- Effective 6/01/24:  The District will be completing periodic audits to review the tax-exempt status of organizations who qualify for the non-profit rental rate.

REMINDER:

- New pricing goes into effect on July 1, 2023.

- Please note that a permit fee of $25 will be charged per request begining July 1, 2023.

- We are limiting a maximum of three (3) changes to be made to your approved request.

- Please keep in mind that each permit request is limited to one (1) school per request. If you are requesting multiple sites, please submit a permit request for each site.

- Synthetic field use permits are open for community use effective January 1, 2023. Requests must be submitted 30 days in advance of the start date. Synthetic Turf Use Guidelines can be found under the Information tab. Failure to comply with the field rules may result in financial penalties or loss of permitting privileges.

- All artificial turf field rentals are not available at this time.

Updated June 24, 2021: LBUSD is currently accepting all permit requests except filming/photography. 

Applicants and facility users are required to adhere to all federal, state, and local public health orders. These orders include but are not limited to social distancing requirements, the wearing of personal protective equipment, and all required safety protocols. Additionally, due to the current cleaning requirements additional custodial hours and permit fees of 2% will be added to every permit. 

The OFFICE OF COMMUNITY USE OF SCHOOL FACILITIES resides in the Purchasing & Contracts Branch and is responsible for coordinating, scheduling, and authorizing the use of district property by outside groups. Permits are issued in response to the Civic Center Meeting Act and policies set by the Board of Education.
